Look no further. (Well, you can if you want, but I want to share some fun, new stuff with you!)
1. God's Story 365 (Suggested Ages: 4-8)
A friend from CrossRoads Church in Cincinnati, OH created this fantastic resource. It's a daily, tear-off, step-by-step, day-by-day walk through God's story. Your kids will fall in love with the illustrations. My five-year-old asks me to read it to her each time she sees it. If you're looking for a simple way to get your kids to engage with God's Story, this is one fantastic step.
2. The 365 Day Children's Bible Storybook (Suggested Ages: 4-7)
Walk through the Bible in one year with your children in this daily, illustrated Bible. This Bible focuses on the stories of the characters in the narrative. A good friend's 7-year-old child wants to read her Bible daily, and usually reads multiple stories per day.
3. Waiting Game (Suggested Ages: 12 & Up)
This is a *NEW* music highlight here by a young adult from The Meeting House. In truth, any age can listen to this as the content is beautiful, fun, and clean. This song is a fantastic listen for pre-teens, teens, and young adults as they are considering the idea of dating. What I love about this song is that while it is musically solid, it also has an incredible message and points people back to Jesus. All that being said, you want your kids to have this playing on their iPod.
4. Sharing God's Love: The Jesus Creed for Children (Suggested Ages: 3-6)
I may have shared this before, but I love, love, love it! It's a fantastic read for children to see practical ways of loving God and loving others. We will be using it throughout the month of March for Preschool curriculum, and is worth the read at home too!
