Dear Mom and Dad,
You have helped me in many ways including pointing me towards Christ, and in this letter I want to thank you for all that you have done for me and helping me be a Christian!
First of all, on the days I don’t want to go to school (more than usual!) you both pray for and with me to help God be there with me! I am glad I am your daughter, you try to make me happy when I am sad, and make tons of sacrifices for me! That is two of the reasons you're great parents!
Both of you guys point me towards God but where I see you doing that the most is when something happens between my brother and I you guys will sort of tell me “Maddie, that’s not what God wants you to do” or “If you keep doing this your relationship with your brother will be gone. He only wanted to tell you something he was excited about.”
I have been going to church my whole life. So when I was in the crawlers - SK in kidmax and when I came out of the class you guys would be like, “What did you learn?” or “What is this craft representing?” Then when I got into grade 1, you helped me every week to learn the memory verse!
Now in Jr High, both of you are encouraging me, paying for the youth retreats, and doing things like getting me to midweek every Wednesday! Thank you guys for always being there and doing all of this that I mentioned above, and more!
-Maddie, age 11
